Present TSC Teachers’ Pay Scales for Every Month, Grades Included. The Kenyan education system is significantly shaped by the teachers who serve on commission. The commission is in charge of hiring, assigning, transferring, and paying teachers’ salaries. Salary payments are made according to the job categories of teachers.
The commission’s responsibility also includes overseeing the effective supervision of instructors in public elementary and secondary schools.
The panel has developed official teacher wages and a grading system in response to the aforementioned opinions. Monthly salary payments are made to the teachers.
The official TSC teacher salary structure for 2024.
Every month, TSC typically pays teachers their salary depending on a variety of criteria. Most significantly, the work groupings set the compensation.
Payment of salaries by TSC covers all teachers working in public primary and secondary schools in Kenya. The new official salary scale for teachers became effective in July 1st 2023 following the signing of the CBA. The second phase will kick off in July 2024.
July 2024 will see the full implementation of the second phase of the teachers’ salary increment. However, this increment will only factor teachers in active service.
