The CEO of TSC plans to leave the company. Dr. Nancy Macharia is in charge of the Teachers Service Commission. According to reports, she will shortly retire from her position. Many people will become interested in this in the future. The largest employer in East and Central Africa is thought to be TSC.
The CEO will take a terminal leave of absence starting in March of next year, according to reports from reliable and authentic sources. This is a prelude to her official retirement, which is scheduled for June 2025. This will allow enough time for competition to determine who will succeed her.
The commission provided lucid information about Dr. Nancy Macharia’s retirement concerns last year. There were differing stories regarding the CEO’s planned departure date—that is, when her contract expires or when she reaches the statutory retirement age.
The TSC’s director of legal, labor, and industrial relations is Mr. Calvin Anyuor. He verified that, in accordance with the legislation, Dr. Nancy Macharia is a state officer. She is therefore excluded from conversations pertaining to the retirement rule.
By then, the TSC chairman was 60 years old, the necessary retirement age. This is in accordance with the laws governing public commissions.

Anyuor did, however, make it clear that the TSC boss was qualified to serve out her ten-year tenure as its head. The TSC Act and the constitution both stipulate that the ten-year term would expire in 2025.
Anyuor clarified further and cited the constitution straight. He cited clause 16(3) of the TSC Act of 2012, which declares that the commission secretary is legally a state officer.
In 1963, the TSC chairman was born. She has dedicated her life to working in the field of education for the past 28 years, holding important positions.
The TSC director took office in 2015 following a rigorous hiring process. On June 30, 2015, she was chosen to succeed Gabriel Lengoiboni, who was then planning to retire.
Since then, the TSC chief has held office until 2020. Despite strong criticism from influential stakeholders and educationists, she extended her contract for an extra five years. The head of the TSC has created a number of initiatives that have simplified the education system thus far.
