How C4, C5, D4, and D5 Teachers Lost in the New Phase TSC Payroll.
Not everyone is happy with the new Payrise since others have nothing to complain about after the first TSC and union salary phase.
Certain educators within certain groups grinned broadly as they cashed in their new pay each month, which they received as a result of signing a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Kenya National Unions of Teachers (KNUT) and Teachers Service Commission (TSC), the teachers’ employer, signed the first part of the Teachers wage hike CBA.
The Kenya Union of Special Needs Education Teachers (KUSNET) and the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) are among the other parties to the important agreement.
Five teacher pay grades—C4, C5, D4, and D5—became losers following the new wage evaluation under the CBA since they did not obtain pay increases.
The pay for teachers in Grades C4 and C5 stayed at SH 52, 308 and SH 62, 272, respectively.
The incomes of those in grades D4 and D5, respectively, are still sh114, 242 and sh131, 380.
