How to Transfer University Courses on the KUCCPS Portal.
With the first revision of courses on the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) website completed, the placement service plans to announce a second iteration.
Following the final revision of courses, KUCCPS allows candidates to apply for institutional transfers and courses.
Students can change their institution or course through the inter-institutional transfer process, subject to the applicable cut-off points.
However, the placement service has advised that this method is not for everyone because it is contingent on institutional permission and student cut-off points.
Interested 2023 KCSE candidates must first log in to the Student Portal (students.kuccps.net) to begin the application process.
After logging into the portal, the students will proceed with the transfer process as specified inside the portal.
Once the student has chosen their preferred university and course, they must pay the placement service.
Payment of the transfer processing fee should be made after completing all of the steps in the application procedure as instructed in the site, not in advance.
All application payments to KUCCPS must be made to the number listed on the placement service’s website.
Applicants are advised not to transfer money to anyone impersonating online as KUCCPS staff.
KUCCPS does not require candidates to transmit money to specific mobile phone numbers.
However, KUCCPS has yet to release the dates for the transfer period and the second review of courses.
