Students sat for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) more so the 2023 group as well as those for KCPE exams from other years now have a chance to view their individual result slip via KNEC online portal.

Unlike the previous years where results could only be accessible through sms ,students can have access of their information from their respective schools online.

How to access your KNEC result slip

Individual candidate KCSE results can be accessed  either through short message service (SMS) .

This is possible when there is an official publication made  using a code provided by KNEC.

Alternatively , KCPE and KCSE result slips can be equally obtained through the headteacher or principal for they are charged with responsibility of downloading and printing them.

Also note that the original KCPE or  KCSE certificates are  printed by KNEC and later delivered to schools within a month after official publication.

Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) announced in March 2024 all thr Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) for the 2022 students are readily available for collection  from  respective schools.

KNEC released an official notification dated Saturday, February 23, 2024 directing all students among them those who had sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2023  pick their result slips from their respective institutions.

A section of the notice had  indicated that all the KCPE 2022 certificate plus the  KCSE 2023 result slip certificates are already posted to all schools .

Note that it is only those schools that presented candidates to sit for the above exams.

• With a stable network,ensure you open the KNEC portal website.
• Once you have successfully logged  in to the website,select examinations results from the many options listed.
• As displayed  by the first drop-down list, select your KCSE examination , then go to the second drop-down list to pick the year.
• Once you have seen text box type   your KCSE / Index number and press  on submit key.
• Your KNEC KCSE or kcpe result slip will be displayed on your screen.
