KUCCPS 2024: How KCSE Students Can Check Their University and TVET Placement Results.
“On Tuesday, May 21st, a momentous announcement was made by CEO Agnes Wahome, as the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) unveiled the eagerly awaited university and TVET placement outcomes for the 2023 KCSE students.
In this revelation, a staggering total of 134,743 students have found their paths illuminated towards diverse degree programs within public universities.
Furthermore, a remarkable number exceeding 18,000 students have been guided towards the pursuit of coveted degree courses offered by private universities.”
Wahome further disclosed that a higher proportion of male candidates who completed their national examinations in 2023 opted for degree programs at universities.
In contrast, a larger number of female candidates applied for degree programs at TVET institutions.
“Out of the 2023 KCSE candidates achieving a grade of C+ and above, a substantial 85 per cent submitted applications, with 76.2 per cent choosing degree courses, while the remainder opted for diploma programs (11,991).
“The Bachelor of Education program garnered the highest number of applicants. Placement into degree programs continued to be predominantly male-dominated, maintaining a trend observed since the inception of the central placement system,” the CEO disclosed.

The login credentials required include the applicant’s KCSE Index Number, the year of KCSE, and the password.
Upon successful login, students will promptly receive notifications regarding the learning institutions where they have been assigned and the specific courses they have been selected to pursue, all accessible through the dashboard.
