KUCCPS Issues a Notice to All 2024 Applicants on Applications.
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has issued an urgent announcement to all students seeking 2024 admissions for tertiary courses to submit their applications within 10 hours .
As per to the notice released on Thursday, April 25, the placement service indicated that at the end of the day list d duration, kuccps would close its application portal.
All interested students who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) between 2000 and 2023 who have not submitted applications are expected to comply.
The service in a notice asked those who had received notifications that they did not secure any of the courses they selected during first revision to should log in to students.kuccps.net to select available courses remaining in the portal list to apply.
Kuccps has asked all students who scored D+ that there is an available chance to apply for various diploma and certificate programs currently offered under approved colleges, various polytechnics and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) centres.
Note that kuccps stated categorically that it is only students who scored a C+ and above who are currently eligible to make applications to placement to degree courses.
How to apply
Upon accessing the login page for the process of application , students should fill KCSE Index Number which should be typed without the slash.
KCPE Index Number or Birth Certificate Number should be used as the student password.
Incase one is looking for a course and is not listed on the portal, it means that the course is not available currently for application .
For courses not available on the portal KUCCPS noted that they had been filled up during the previous applications for 2024.
The placement portal indicated that there are limited Artisan Certificate Programmes for students who did not attain to post a D+ in their KCSE exam.
For those students who had earlier made the selection were told not to make applications too.
