Teacher House Allowances for TSC C4 Based on Four Primary Clusters.
Teachers Service Commission (TSC) released the list of teacher (s) who were promoted to Grade C4 as a result , these teachers are required to know about the house allowances they will be entitled to.
At the same time,teachers should understand that C4 teachers are classified into following positions which include;Senior Lecturer IV,Senior Master IV, SNE Senior Teacher under Primary the SNE Teacher under Secondary and Deputy Headteacher II.

Cluster 1 (Teachers based in Nairobi City) Note that this cluster includes teachers working in parts of Nairobi City.
Cluster 2 , these are teachers working in areas around Mombasa city Kisumu and Nakuru Cities
Others under this cluster include Nyeri, Eldoret, Thika, Kisii, Malindi and also Kitale Municipalities).
All the teachers in the cities and municipalities above fall under this cluster 2.
Cluster 3 (This covers other Former Municipalities apart from those teachers in other former municipalities listed under Cluster 2.
Cluster 4 , this involves all other areas which are not covered in Clusters 1, 2, or 3 listed above.
Knowing the house allowance for C4 teachers is important for purposes of managing finances and planning individual budget effectively.
Equally getting the rates applicable to a location cluster enables a teacher to make informed decisions based on housing arrangements.
