The Deputy County Director of the West Pokot TSC, Joseph Musyoka, has urged primary school teachers who fulfill the requirements to instruct at Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) to apply for redeployment. Speaking at the Nasokol Girls Secondary School during the conclusion of a five-day JSS teacher training program, Musyoka questioned why, out of the 6000 available spots announced by TSC, only 13 had applied. Keep your TSC registration current. work as an elementary school instructor. Shouldn’t be going through a disciplinary procedure or serving an interdiction possess an education diploma and at least a C+ in each of your two teaching topics. possess an arts or science bachelor’s degree in education with a C+ in two teaching subjects. possess a postgraduate diploma in education covering two areas of instruction. CBC training is a must.
Teachers who enrolled in a bridge course before to pursuing a degree program in education but who initially received a C grade from the institution are also qualified. Teachers who are blind or visually impaired who have participated in a diploma program in education and have a mean grade of C plain in two disciplines of instruction are qualified.
A few educators who were granted anonymity during interviews questioned why they were being asked to take on additional responsibilities but receiving the same compensation.
