TSC Announces New Payroll Numbers Effective 2024 for All Teachers.
TSC Announces New Payroll Numbers: As of right now, all Teacher Service Commission (TSC) staff members—including teachers—use identical payroll numbers.
The national government’s decision to implement the integrated human resources system known as the Unified Human Resource System, or UHRS, led to the action.
The Head of the Public Service recently informed all Public Service organizations of this decision, bringing in a new era of integrated and streamlined HR practices.
This innovative technology will act as a central repository for all human resources data related to the public sector, including payroll information and other crucial details.
The establishment of a “Unified Human Resource and Payroll Number generating system (UHR and IJPN) for the Public Service” was one of the proposals included in the 2015 CARPS Report.
Because of this, the Allocation System for Unified Payroll Numbers mandates that every public employee be assigned a distinct and permanent identity number (UPN).
TSC decided that starting in March 2023, every payroll member—including teachers—would have a unique UPN number.

The T-Pay System consists of two unique identities: the UPN, also referred to as the payroll number, and the TSC/Employment number.
Recently, TSC developed the online T-Pay application platform to facilitate check-off deductions for both employees and outside firms, with the goal of optimizing the management of third-party checks.
Through the TSC program T-Pay, teachers who are enrolled with the commission can check their online payslips.
To use the portal’s services, educators only need to enter their TSC number and password to log in.
