TSC C4 House Allowances Based On Four Main Clusters. The Teachers service commission pays all teachers in public schools their salaries every month. Additionally, allowances are also paid to these teachers. Every TSC employed teacher is entitled to a house allowance.
In the month of March 2024, the Teachers service commission released a list of all promoted teachers. The promoted teachers moved from one job group to another. We shall delve on teachers promoted from C3 to C4. In addition, we shall highlight the house allowance these teachers are set to be entitled to.
Additionally, teachers should be able to know that C4 teachers have been classified into a number of positions. The classifications include;
- Senior Lecturer IV
- Senior Master IV,
- SNE Senior Teacher under Primary
- SNE Teacher under Secondary
- Deputy Headteacher II.

CLUSTER ONE
This cluster purely entails teachers working in Nairobi City. However, it encompasses of teachers working in some specific parts of the city.
CLUSTER TWO
This type of cluster encompasses teachers working in Mombasa City, Kisumu and Nakuru Cities.
Other municipalities in this cluster include;
- Nyeri,
- Eldoret,
- Thika,
- Kisii,
- Malindi
- Kitale
All teachers working in those cities and municipalities are categorized under this cluster.
CLUSTER THREE
This type of cluster covers tutors working in former municipalities. Teachers covered under this are from municipalities not listed under cluster two.
CLUSTER FOUR
This is the largest cluster . It covers all other areas not captured in cluster 1, 2, 3 listed above.
