According to Teachers Service Commission, (TSC) Job Group C1 which is known as Secondary Teacher II are diploma teacher employees whose salary structure is determined by the commission.

C1 teachers position serves as the entry point for Diploma teachers to teach in secondary schools.
All the C1 teachers also known as Secondary Teacher II play a crucial responsibility of imparting quality knowledge and skills to secondary school students.

Monthly Salary Structure for C1 Teachers

Monthly House Allowance for TSC C1 Teachers

Tsc pays these teachers a monthly house allowance of sh. 5,000 to sh. 10,000 depending on the geographical area of their employment.
Teachers in urban areas attract higher allowances to help them secure suitable accommodation and sustaining their livelihood.
Other allowances paid include;
Monthly Hardship Allowance of sh. 8200
Monthly Commuter Allowance of sh. 4000
An Annual Leave Allowance of sh. 4000
Monthly Disability Guide Allowance of sh. 20000.
