TSC New Teachers Annual Leave Allowance Payment Rates 2024.
Teachers Annual Leave Allowance: At the conclusion of this month, teachers who are currently employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will receive their yearly leave benefit.
Teachers receive the above payment once a year from TSC at a rate determined by their job categories.Teachers receive additional pay as a result of the money.
Allowance for Teachers’ Leave
One of the many benefits to which teachers are entitled is leave allowance. One such benefit is a thirty-day annual leave that can be taken during school breaks.
Teachers employed by the Commission are eligible for a maximum of thirty days of paid time off per year.
During this period, the teacher gets full pay in respect of each calendar year worked irrespective of the terms as well as the conditions of service.
Tsc also indicates that annual leave shall only be taken during school holidays and not be accumulated to be carried forward from year to year.
Teachers are allowed to make an application for annual leave which is fin online and only during school holidays.
Much of the details on such a leave is set out in Twenty Seventh Schedule of the TSC Code of Regulations for teachers (CORT)
Back since December,1, 2021 ,tsc automated the leave application and approval process and migrated the same to an online system as well.
TSC allowances for PNP and interns
Currently, all the teachers on TSC payroll plus those under interns are required henceforth to apply for leave using the online platform.The other teacher leaves available on an online platform are;

- Annual Leave
- Compassionate Leave
- Paternity Leave
- Maternity Leave
- Study Leave
- Special Leave
- Adoption Leave
