TSC transfers secondary school principals in Murang’a.
Prior to the start of the second term of classes the next week, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) moved the principals of Murang’a’s secondary schools.
Some of the deputy principals have also received promotions from the teacher’s employer.
Andrew Maina, the longtime principal of Ichagaki Mixed Secondary School, has replaced John Mwangi at PK Secondary School.
Maina expressed his gratitude for having spent 15 years supervising Ichagaki Secondary School’s improvement.
“I am departing Ichagaki Mixed School with 660 students, having found only 66, sixteen years ago,” he declared.
After Rhoda Wamaitha leaves, Julia Muturi, the principal of Kamahuha Girls, relocates to Musa Gitau in Kiambu County.
In place of Veronica Mwai, who has been transferred to Kamahuha Girls, Wamaitha has been relocated to Nginda Girls in Maragua.
Francis Ng’ang’a, the director of the Murang’a TSC, stated that the head teacher transition was a routine procedure.
Ng’ang’a stated, “This is a routine exercise by the employer with no cause for alarm.”
The Standard has been informed that the sub-county’s directors of education have been in charge of overseeing the continuous handover process in the impacted schools.
Hannah Wangari, the deputy principal of Kamahuha Girls, has been transferred to Koimbi Mixed Secondary School in the Kahuro sub-county.
In place of Ngaruiya, who is moving to Vidhu Ramji Secondary School in Murang’a town, Danstan Ngare of Mweru Secondary School in Kiharu transfers to Gaitheri Secondary School.
Rose Kihara is replaced as deputy principal of Senior Chief Girls, Kiambu, at Karuri Gakure Secondary School in Kangema.
