TSC’s revised teacher grading scheme and salary scale.
Updated version of the TSC Teacher Salary Scale. The organization in charge of investigating all matters connected to teachers is the Teachers Service Commission. The problems include hiring, promoting, firing, and even moving to a different station for teachers.
The commission recently revised the pay schedules for all teachers across the nation. Certain job groups have been eliminated and combined with others as a result of the upgrading.
Under the former grading scheme, job group G applied to all P1 teachers. Since then, grade B5 has taken the job group’s place in the revised reforms.
The following describes the restructuring and renaming of additional grades:
✔️J is now C1.
✔️K is now C2.
✔️L is now C3.
✔️M is now C4.
✔️N is now C5.
Other than the J to N job groups, there were other job groups initially of a higher rank. Initially, they were designated as P, Q and R. These ones have also been renamed to;
✔️P is now D1.
✔️Q is now D2.
✔️R is now D3.
